    NHL Season Preview Show

NHL Season Preview: Can the Maple Leafs put pressure aside and perform?

The core remained intact for a Maple Leafs team that suffered another disappointing playoff exit, which means the pressure to produce is greater than ever. Kyle Dubas added some depth and Sheldon Keefe will finally get a full season to implement his strategies. Here is a preview of what to expect in Toronto this season.

NHL Season Preview: The time is now for Oilers

With more depth up front for the Oilers, we could see head coach Dave Tippett play Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl together more than he ever has. The Canadiens have gone from being the second last team standing to limping into the new campaign. Adjusting to life without Shea Weber all season and Carey Price for at least until Remembrance Day will be a tall task, which means the early season will be an exercise in practicing next man up while simultaneously trying to rally around two iconic players whose values extend immeasurably beyond the scoresheet.

NHL Season Preview: Defence will be key to what Canucks can do this season

The Canucks made some investments in their blue line this offseason and it's certainly an area that needs to be better if they want to reverse their disappointments from last season. The biggest questions surrounding the team is what can they get out of newly acquired Oliver Ekman-Larsson and will Thatcher Demko prove he can sustain a high level of play throughout a full season? Here is more on what to expect in Vancouver.

NHL Season Preview: Will the Senators continue to grow?

The trio of Drake Batherson, Tim Stützle and Josh Norris combined for almost 100 points in their first full NHL season, and they'll be starting the year together on the first line. Sens fans can expect a young and hungry team to surprise some contenders and continue to improve, but restricted free agent Brady Tkachuk is still unsigned.
